Jean Milot has extensive experience in supporting and assisting employers and their employees with expatriate tax, mobility and HR issues arising from international assignments and business travellers. His corporate and personal tax backgrounds (Canadian, US and European) bring a unique blend of tax experience to support the overall business strategies (Finance, Human Resource, Tax and Payroll).

Jean has spoken at various tax conferences and seminars on executive compensation, equity compensation, taxation of cross-border business travellers, US citizens and Europeans in Canada, Canadians and US Citizens in Europe and many different expatriate matters.

• Provide due diligence advisory services: evaluating tax compliance and permanent establishment issues, addressing withholding and reporting requirements with respect to payroll, individual income/social security and corporate income taxes.
• Assist in designing/developing expatriates policy guidelines: short term/business trip, tax equalization or protection.
• Develop and assist organizations in multi-jurisdictions compliance requirements with respect to stock incentive plans benefits attributable to executives on assignment.
• Assist clients in several voluntary disclosure dealing with payroll, individual and corporate non-resident taxes both with Canadian, US and foreign tax authorities
